How To Prepare For Your Initial Whistleblower Claim Meeting

What we learn from you in our meetings is crucial. Our initial interviews are especially important. In preparing for our meeting, please write down everything you know about the fraud you have discovered. Then keep a pad handy to record thoughts as they come to you.
Here are the key areas:

  • Describe the location of any relevant documents, computer files and other evidence.
  • List the names of all the individuals with knowledge of the matter. Classify them as friendly or not, still employed or not, and provide their contact information if you know it.
  • Identify supervisors and others who likely would have participated in wrongdoing.
  • Describe the complete corporate structure of the offending company.
  • Make a list of the specific laws, regulations, rules and procedures that may have been violated.

Writing too much is better than not writing enough, but do not exaggerate. It is never wrong to say you do not know something. Do not hold back the facts that might harm the case or any negatives in your background. We need to know everything because your success depends on it.

Are you concerned that your employer could retaliate against you?

Our experienced whistleblower attorneys can help you determine if there is a violation, guide you through blowing the whistle in a manner calculated to protect your career and fight for your rights if your employer retaliates.
